Your favourite Sunday Supplements, according to the data
To celebrate 200 editions of the Sunday Supplement, we find out which were your favourites.
We’ve just sent out our 200th(!) edition of the Sunday Supplement. It’s come a long way from when we started—new name, new structure, new products—but the idea at the centre, that through braincare we can get the world doing more of what they want, stays the same.
And to celebrate 200 editions, we looked back at the data to find out which were your favourite Sunday Supplements. Here are the top 5 of all time.
5. How to age well
Unfortunately, getting older is inevitable. It doesn’t matter how many anti-aging supplements, creams, pills, or procedures you try, if anyone tells you they can stop it, they’re lying.
Feeling older though—that’s a different matter. And that’s where braincare comes in. As we age, our dietary requirements change, and it’s vital we stay on top of those shifts.
4. Dan’s top 10 books of 2021
Braincare is important, but it’s not all just hydration and vitamins. Filling your mind with ideas, insights, wisdom, and power from people who’ve taken the time to write their knowledge down—it helps us in our aim to become just a little bit better, each month.
Our co-founder Dan Murray-Serter manages between 50-60 books a year, but which were his favourites of 2021?
3. How to stop procrastinating
‘Yep, sure - I’m on it. I’ll get started in a minute.” Then three hours later, it’s still not done. Sound familiar? Then you're in the right place.
Procrastination is a productivity killer, but it’s not as simple as just putting things off. There are complex psychological processes and profiles that can lead to procrastination. So we spoke to the experts to find out why we procrastinate, and what we can do about it.
2. What’s the deal with probiotics?
Gut health has been a hot topic in the news lately, as people look for relief from everything from bloating and pain after eating, to skin issues, brain fog and everything in between. And when our co-founder Joel Freeman opened up about his gut health, it struck a chord.
You can read his story here , but more research has been done since then, including about the specific category psychobiotics. It’s a fascinating area, and one to keep an eye on…
1. Plant-based braincare with Sophie Medlin
Sophie (if you didn’t know) is our Head of Nutritional Research. She’s also Chair of the British Dietetic Association of London, a regular contributing dietitian on the BBC, ITV, and Channel 4, and a practising dietitian. It’s quite the resumé.
As more and more people look to switch to vegan diets (or just reduce their meat consumption), we spoke to Sophie on the Braincare podcast about plant-based diets, braincare, and how to make sure you’re getting the nutrients your brain needs.
